As a flames fan respectable deal for sure both guys are flippable Calgary will be wanting lower picks because they have a lot of depth that's NHL ready in a year or two so a project or NCAA player is good as Pittsburgh will want a depth player from the draft a season or two down the road. The kessel trade is a nice one but until they get the 8 team list who knows what will be available for him. I can see mostly depth players for him just the way things are playing out right now

I would not accept the Kessel trade but Rutherford might. Pens need to be getting more in the Neal trade.

Calgary would consider for sure, but only 1.5M in cap savings... and another LHD where we have a lot of depth.
Unsure how I feel about it but likely pretty close.

Do not want Neal for $5.75M. Without Calgary retaining (substantial) salary there is no way that works.

However, Neal will never wear a Pens jersey again.
