That doesn’t get you the 1st overall pick.....Hughes or Kappo. Maybe if you still had Brannstrom to add then possibly.

Cody Glass, Draft Picks, and a guy like Marchessault probably peaks their interest

Not saying for sure it's a even trade, but trady a 40 goals scorer and 70 pts young guys and a 40-50 pts guys 25 goals scorer for a guy that has not proven even anything yet is still a pretty solide offer. They need players to help Hishier and Hall right away if not they will lose hall next year.

1st overall picks are insanely expensive

Marchessault
Miller
Glass
2019 1st round
2019 2nd round
2020 1st round

Would take a "Lindros Package" minus the cash

He's nothing close to Lindros value, he's not a Matthews of Mcdavid either. But adding an other 1st round pick would make sens

Lol, 2 2nd liners, a lower 1st round pick and a 2nd is nowhere near a franchise centre like Hughes

Way to presume you know what Hall will do. As if he'll walk out when they sign Hughes because "he's not ready". That's just ridiculous.

Ummm the stats say he's better than Matthews at his age. Although a different style player.
Like most 1st overall you never know what you are going to get till they put on the skates. But don't think for one moment the kid can't play. He can.
He might be the best 1st over all pick in a 5 year window. Hischier, Dahlin.....got both those beat. Lafrenière will probably be the only guy who can play on his level so we'll see. He's a year younger, but he didn't look nearly as good in WJC U20. So I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Well hes not 40, and a guranteed superstar>potential to be a superstar, hughes or kakko dont have a high enough ceiling IMO to require stone and then some, I can understand marchessault/tuch and theodore

Vegas would need to empty their farm system (they already lost Suzuki and Brunnstrom) and include at least a star players and some picks...

Trade doesn't make sense for either team.
For Vegas you gut the core with no chance of winning for a few years.
For NJ you trade away a franchise player of the future, even with the adds they still aren't a contender.

"Lindros Package" were not my words - was from article on value of top pick...Link: https://theathletic.com/928081/2019/04/16/what-the-canucks-would-have-to-do-to-trade-up-for-jack-hughes-and-the-player-few-in-vancouver-want-to-see-in-the-deal/

And I think Hughes is on par with Matthews , if not better, at similar points. But agree that Hughes is likely below McDavid level.

No guarantee...sure. But highly likely both Hughes & Kappo turn out a lot better than Mark Stone. Mark Stone is a good player, probably a top-6 guy on most teams, but isn't a cornerstone guy you build around.

Yes he is, hes one the best right wingers in the entire game, a borderline top 5 winger in the league and the best defensive winger in the entire league
