As reported by Dreger today, mitch marner and his camp with wait until after July 1st to see what other teams will offer. I would love to hear other leafs fans opinion on this. I just find it very hard to believe that mitch is willing to leave Toronto over probably a difference of 500k, he sees how electric the city is behind the rapotors (If the Leafs were in the final it would be 10x this). There seems to be a lot of outside pressure for him to take the highest dollar value, and the type of team to offer him 11+ mill and 4 1st round picks probably isn’t a current contender for the Cup anyways.
