Not at all. Drouin was on pace for a 70pts season at the 60game mark, his last 20ish games he hit a dry spell and a bunch of fans are already ready to give him the Pacioretty treatment. As in MTL are still really deep on the wing and they believe Drouin is expendable, to improve at another position. Pacioretty got MTL an amazing Center prospect + a pick, and a LW replacement (no one was expecting Tatar to have the season he did). Fans hope Drouin could do the same, again, because they believe he’s expendable.

People thought he was gonna be something he is not. So now they can't tolerate a 24 year old winger that puts up 50+ points... Pavel Bure or Bust...

Hard no from Philadelphia... Myers has a high ceiling and Ratcliffe dominated in the OHL this year, huge part of Guelph's success. Don't need a winger, need a 2C, 2D, and backup goalie.
