It's not even #8 it's #9 the Anaheim pick. No way Cole Caufield is there at #9 hearing the Kings are interested in him at #5.

No one wants Ericsson. Jimmy Howard will mostly likely retire if traded he's 35 and his family is Detroit him signing for another season with helps Detroit. It gives Detroit time for to see if some of the goalie prospects will pan out before having to go out and pay for one. Detroit doesn't want Maatta he has spent over 1/3 of his career on the IR and Daley has only spent about half way between a 1/4 and a 1/5 of his career on the IR. Daley is hurt a lot.
