It looks like a lot of value, but it really isn't, at least not for Toronto.

TJ Brodie is a damn good defenseman, but he's an LD and one year from UFA. Doesn't really make sense for Toronto
I've always been a huge Kylington fan (wanted Toronto to take him), but he hasn't done all that much in North America to have much value, and again is an LD.
A 1st always sounds like a lot, but Calgary was a top team last year, so what is there 1st, like 22nd? That isn't as valuable as a first sounds
Jankowski-I may be wrong here, I haven't really watched him play much. So he may be better than I think.

Its a bunch of mid quality pieces and Brodie who is more valuable to another team. It just doesn't make sense.

I don’t think you should trade both Nylander and Kadri

Brodie is not an an LD... he is a an RD who shoots left... and he is garbage.

Switch kylington for Andersson and keep Brodie. Add a decent forward prospect and it’s a fair deal. But leafs aren’t moving nylander and flames aren’t moving Andersson.

Brodie is kinda meaningless in the trade for the Leafs as he's just a one year rental and has the same cap Kadrik.
If Flames wanted Nylander and the Leafs can't take much cap back then maybe first and a prospect or ELC NHLer. Heck I would prefer even do Nylander for RHD Andersson.
