Best 1st line in hockey just got better. Mackinnon Panarin Rantanen would be scary good.

I would fear this team above all others in a few years with some experience (and more strength/size) added to these young players...

Seen a lot worse though I doubt Panarin signs in Denver. D pairings are off but otherwise pretty good.

I like those pairings, personally.

I would like an explanation on the Barberio trade. I agree with moving him, but why Washington? Do they have that need/Cap Space? Is the 6th rnd pick what you put his value at? I'm not being demeaning, I'm just genuinely curious. If you could @ me in the response, that would be awesome, thanks!

(also Mikko doesn't take anything less than $9)

It was really just trading him to any team. Who knows he may be worth a 4th or 5th. He hardly played last year and Graves and Timmins (assuming he gets healthy) can fill that role.

I see Mikko between 8.5 and 9. Or he may do a bridge deal. I just hope he doesn’t demand a 5 year deal like Matthews.

I think you're more likely to see the Girard-Makar pairing as a rarity than a norm. It will most likely be Cole and Makar and Girard with EJ as the norm.
