Trading away key young pieces like Vlad Namestnikov and Jimmy Vesey for picks and Nazem f*cking Kadri isn't a path to the playoffs.

If you think Vlad and Jimmy are young pieces for the future you must be high. Kadri holds down the number 2 role until Andersson or Chytil can play at that level.

I actually support the idea of the rangers acquiring Kadri. However, I think Toronto is desperate and they need to clear cap space. I think as a Ranger fan, we can get Kadri for the low low. Also, we need to unload overpaid defenseman before getting Kadri. We will see what happens. Should definitely be interesting.
