27, not at the NHL yet.......
waste of time effort and money. It's a farm team, use it appropriately.
Fritz has played in the NHL a lot. This isn't a Bridgeport signing, Fritz played a very solid game when he plays and can easily play bottom 6 center. He's fast and agile and has a solid passing game. This is an absolute steal for Fritzie and the Isles.

A lot? he's 27 years old. He played 8 games in the NHL last year and managed 1 assist. He played 34 the year before and had 3 goals and 7 points. That's not really lighting it up. Which explains why he played 8 games this year. Clinging on to older players because you like them might be great for sentimental reasons. But at the end of the day it's damaging to the team. You either are or you are not capable of being a quality NHL player. at 27, if you aren't, you're gone. Bring in the next younger guy who is hungry for their chance. It's not like 7 point production in 34 games is hard to come by.
