If Danault would be available I would be interested from Buffalo.

I tried to do one with Buffalo but only the St-Louis 1st round pick is interesting, but isnt enough.

McCabe+ prospect? We have a number of interesting perspectives, of course I wouldn't abandon the Olofsson or Mittelstadt, but others probably would have been available.

I like the idea of going after leddy to help the top 4 LD, but Tatar was arguably the habs 2nd best winger this past season, and quickly a fan favourite. If you make that deal, you need to get a replacement forward in the top 6.

The 2nd trade doesn’t make much sense to me. Philip danault performed very well as our 2C and is at worst a great 3C in the league. Armia for jannmark alone is about fair value (but armia is a good locker room guy for kotkaniemi so why trade him). While Robertson is a good prospect, the habs already have poehling, Evans and Suzuki waiting to make the leap. No need to trade a known food commodity for another prospect.

No they wont be, so you dont need to get Leddy and give up Tatar who actually produced, and Danault who actually plays with some kind of passion

DAL declines. Danault's nice, but I wouldn't give our best prospect outside of NHL for him, especially when we don't really need him that much.

I'd like to inquire about Janmark+something for Armia trade though, if possible?

Tatar can be replace easely on the Left side. Byron is a 20 goals scorer, but I prefer Lehkonen personally. Lehkonen did everything perfect, exept scoring 25 goals. He was very good at the end of the season, playing on the 1st line with Domi. Maybe he'll get is confidance back. Poehling might be able to replace Danault with is defensive play. MTL have a excellent prospect in every position KK-Poehling (C) Suzuki Ylonen (RW) Romanov (LD) Josh Brook (RD) Primeau (G) but no excellent prospect (LW). Thats why I target Robertson, and Dallas need a 2C. I think Danault vs Janmark ( filled a hole ) Robertson is in favor of MTL so I add Armia to sweet the deal.

Im just trying to make fair trades, I hope Bergevin dont move this summer actually. But this website is so fun, and I'm trying to do fair trades for both team

Not really, did those trades for fun, MTL are actually loaded on the LW ( Drouin Tatar Lehkonen Byron )

It's an interesting deal with the Islanders, but I think they'd need to add in this scenario. Tatar is coming off a fantastic year, and Leddy just had one of his worst seasons, so his value is very low at the moment. I also find it interesting that you don't have Suzuki making the team next year

IMO, Poehling & Suzuki are not making the team next year wink Teasdale-Poehling-Suzuki will be Laval first line

I could see Dallas highly considering personally. Robertson would be tough to lose, but Danault has already shown he can be a consistent, productive player at this level. And Armia would also be an upgrade over Janmark. If I'm Montreal, I'd request a sweetener to this deal. I'd be happy in Dallas.

Happy with the Islanders deal, though I'd miss watching Tatar a lot.

Not convinced of the Dallas trade. Danault is truly a rising star and an heir to the Patrice Bergeron mantle. Jason Robertson can absolutely score like a maniac, but his skating is still suspect and he was still just 44th on THN's Future Watch list. So on a one-for-one, Dallas would seem to win. Armia is very solid in a 3rd-4th line setting, as is Janmark. But Janmark doesn't really fill a need in Montreal. So, I think there needs to be a 2nd or something else coming in the deal. Or, any interest in a guy named Alzner?
