From the WPG side I would do it, both proved they are good nhl players with room to grow, both seem to be slightly behind expectations and could use a scenery change.

Just for the fact that Winnipeg doesn't need another RFA to deal with this summer, that would be a no from the Jets.

Yeah I don't get why the Jets do this, better off to keep Roslovic.

What an absolute overpay by Tampa. Not happening. And if Tampa gets Karlsson, they don't need no RHD anymore.

Eriksson Ek is not going to break the bank. Roslovic needs to play in the top-6 to be effective and reach his potential. There’s nowhere to play for him right now.

They have to make some moves if they want to keep the Cup window open. And every team in the league is looking for a player like Spurgeon. It’s not an overpay when Tampa Bay is getting $9 million in cap space in this trade.

But that's the thing Roslovic has more potential. So why would the Jets trade him away? Laine and Connor are becoming much more expensive this year, so Perreault is likely to get traded away which will give him an opportunity to develop.

Where is he going to play when the Jets commit to Connor and Laine long-term? There’s no point of letting him sit and develop when there is no spot for him to play in the near future if he does develop. Eriksson Ek can slot in as 3rd line center right now.
