Subban for Kessel by it's self is horrible trade for Nashville. Add in the cap dump of Jack Johnson and it is completely ridiculous.

I mean, not really. Kessel is clearly the better the player making less money. Subban is good, but thats it. Not even near worth $9M. Plus its been rumored as is. As a Penguins fan, I want Subban as far away from my team as possible.

IMO, Subban is a former Norris trophy winner who controls the game when he is on the ice. He battled injury's for a lot of this season but is typically a 50-60 point defenseman with a cannon of a shot. Kessel has never been able to drive play while on the ice or even a line for that matter. He is always a complementary player.

Not to mention the value of a RHD over a winger.

not even close to correct. Kessel makes over 2million less and is over a ppg player. Not to mention for a team that has a strong defense already, could use help on the forward side of things, and had lots of trouble with the pp. If you don't think that would be a great trade for them, that's fine. But horrible?? that's utter nonsense.

Pernell, is more interested in being famous than playing hockey. You can keep your 9 million dollar over rated talk show host. The penguins are more interested in winning cups. He should know, they torched Nashville up and down the ice for one while over rated Pernell was on it.
