We've seen so little from the Oilers since Holland moved in a few weeks ago, it's hard to tell how quickly he will want to tear it down. He and Bergevin don't have a great trading history and I am sure there's no love between MB and KH over his claiming JDLR last year.

It's funny, I agree that the Flyers get the short straw in this trade, but it might be as simple as dropping that 3rd pick. I think you'll have to bring a player to the table as Ikonen is still miles from the NHL and 2nd picks are a 50-50 proposition that the kid will ever stick in the NHL. Do they need Lindgren. I thought the Flyers always had too many middling goalies and not enough great ones (Carter might change that, though it's still very early).

All good points. I made a post a few weeks back where i Believe I had a 1st round pick, Ikonen and Lindgren and Flyer fans response was "we take that and run" So i thought maybe I was overvaluing a bit. Maybe Something along the lines of this:

You're still trading non-roster players for a good roster player in Ghost. I think you'll have to replace Ikonen with Lehkonen even to just get Philly's attention.
