I was a bit confused at the start and then it just went off the rails...

-LAK taking on the Marleau cap hit puts them over the cap.

-Santini and Zaitsev have about the same value, but Santini is cheaper and isn't owed $21 mil. Don't see why the Devils do this deal.

-Boldy, Turcotte, Dach, Krebs, Caulfield etc. >>>>>> Connor Brown. The Oilers aren't giving up the 8th OA pick in a deal for Connor Brown.

-Because you're not getting the 8th OA pick, there's no way you get Pesce. The Oil would be better off giving up the 8th OA and a prospect to get Pesce (Who fills a need for them), instead of using it to get Brown. Brown gets you a 3rd.
