You'll regret signing Kapanen to 4 million, he is a 40 point guy, inflated to 50 point guy playing with Matthews (seeing you place Kapanen on the 3rd line, head shakes).

That 3rd line gets Nylander 55 points, Kappy 40 points and Moore 35 points.

Last's year's 3rd line of Kadri (44 points) Marleau (37 points) and Nylander (27 points) , expecting different results is foolish to say the least.

That is one player the same... in a different position... which is why I switched the line...

This would be a great 3rd line. Would imagine the put up about 60-80 goals. but if you can come up with a better one I would love to hear it?

Nylander nor Kapanen have proved themselves capable of playing at a 50 point pace unless they got Matthews as their center, so with less minutes and not piggy backing off Matthews it's easy to say their numbers decrease. Moore at best is a younger Hyman player, so expect him to top out at 35 points.

Zezel-Osbourne-Berg , done deal. Create your 2 super lines and than have 2 super checking lines who can shutdown the other team and have some scoring talent, these players are full of nastiness. Today's Leafs maybe Hyman, Kadri and maybe Timashov/Marchment can equal what Burns BOZ line did.

The kettle is black my friend, but you already know this.

Please explain how that Nashville trade isn't a troll job or have you been dropped on your head too > ?

How do you figure? Personally I would rather move kappy but a top pairing rhd on a great deal for the next 8yrs and a decent prospect for Kadri and Johnsson. What’s not to like?

And you literally posted a recent agm with the same wingers and carter in the middle but then complain about me putting kappy on the 3rd line lol.

Go eat some meds, c’mon back and we’ll talk hockey.

You're quickly losing any respect and credibility with these ACGM threads and your responses.

Yes the Leafs would love that Preds trade, it's so one sided that in the real world the Preds GM would laugh in your face and never pick up the phone again when he sees your number.

If you want Kappy on your third line, pay him as a third liner, you paid him 2nd line $$$ and bury him with Nylander on a 3rd line?. If you believe Kappy is 3rd line talent than you quote his salary along the lines of Hyman and Brown.

This agm was posted by a preds fan, just like it says in the title, I just did the other side of it. In my opinion leafs would roll 3 lines... hell we are probably better off putting Matthews on the third line since they play all the big playoff minutes.

I asked you earlier if you had a better idea for the third line, you replied with something smug. So don’t get on my case.

*edit... I see now that you went over that post and edited it...

Realistically I don’t see Bracco getting a shot with Matthews but it would be smart. Bracco Matthews and nylander kappanen is a much better pairing than Bracco nylander and kapanen Matthews. Gives nylander some guys to play with on the third line and keeps the matching nightmare going.

You paid kapanen 2.75m for 2years, I paid him 4m for 5 years. An extra 1.25m to sign him for more than double the term seems reasonable if I can fit it.

Our shut down line is the Tavares line. They match up great against first lines. 2 more lines of scoring and 4th line with energy. What’s not to like?

Sorry, I read your title but know nothing of the other ACGM (a link would have been helpful).

Yes I really enjoy using the edit button, it's my friend. I also make use of the edit button to re-do my ACGM when I receive input from others. I know Pred fans would see no value in Watson (after his personal issues) but I don't understand the logic why any fan would wanna see their team trade a reasonable quality 8 year contract of a star RHD.

As for Kapanen's contract, I'd prefer the bridge contract because I can see him peaking as a 40-45 point guy (which honestly are replaceable) and I wanna protect my Cap Hit.

I'm sorry if you view me as a troll.

I grew up as a 1992-95 Toronto Burns fan, so I'm not a fan of 3 scoring lines. I prefer the Burns theory of 1 super line and 3 dependable checking lines.

Here is the original, they did another one right after it with sissons and we added Bracco and brooks.

https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1198017

Personally I would rather move kapanen and sign Johnsson.

Actually I have heard a few preds fans complaining about the josi and Ellis pairing. Subban will be harder to move but I think that’s who they should move.

Agree concerning Kappy, the Leafs rw has more depth than their left side (if you keep Nylander as a RWer, no entertaining his 3rd C line option). So in my eyes Johnsson is more valuable, though he too will probably peak as a 45-50 point guy. So who ever Dubas gets to sign a cheaper contract I'd keep. If Marleau and Zaitsev are truly upset by the Toronto spotlight and agree to move; that extra 10+ million is key to being a Cup contender. I'd say the Leafs save cap space to try talking StL to move Pietrangelo again.

And what are you going to do to get Petro? Move assets. I would rather get Ellis who is younger and already signed longer and cheaper.

The cap space is great but losing zaitsev means we are even weaker in rhd and moving those two won’t return anything we can use.

When a player and a team sign a 8 yr contract it means he is an untouchable franchise player. Petro (if the Blues regress and miss the playoffs next year or he refuses to resign) could be a Leaf, thru trade or in the summer of 2020 as UFA .
