Why would Vancouver want Hartnell? What is Arizona trying to do with Foligno? And you over paid on Edmonton trade.

And where is our 3OA. In this scenario it would/should be Pulujvarji. Get rid of Loui. He is worthless to us.

Now Dallas has three goalies making 19m, and the goaltending isn't any better.

Nobody wants Hartnell, CBJ fans are just stimulating themselves with rosterbation. The only possibility I see to take him is Arizona if they need more cap.

Now hold on a sec. Hartnell is not a bad player. His contract is a bit high and he does have term with him aging. However, he is still a good, tough scoring winger. He just isn't a mainstay top 6. But is a super third line scorer. Only teams interested will be playoff teams looking for a missing piece.

All points noted. This is a drastic shakeup, so I should have provided some context up front. I apologize. To start with, Hartsy has been one of our best players the last 2 yrs playing on line primarily with freshman/sophomore (Wennberg/Dano/Anderson etc). He could play along Horvat, & Virtanen to help with their development. His grit and tenacity may also rub off some on the Sedin sisters. He is not the same player as past years, but his foot speed is still there and he is still durable. All indications are he will continue on pace for the next several years. It looks like AZ is hedging on upping Doan. Foligno is a decade younger but has potential to put up large numbers and fill a void. Albeit around the same price, so this was a stretch. As for Edmonton, Johnson is slowing down and Prout is barely NHL talent, so I included Milano. I had this one without Milano but wanted to make sure they would take the deal, so included him. I thought I had slotted Puljujarvi in, so will correct my error (remove Sedlak from the 13th F slot). Dallas Goaltending was horrible last year. Save % barely .900 for both and GAA quite high for team with this talent. Granted lots of injuries on D, but goalies have to make up for this and they clearly did not. Word on the street is Dallas is giving up on at least one of their duo. Finally, the Corsi % for several of the signings above is strong, which will help the Jackets over long run THey would need another veteran Goalie which I did not address.

A 3rd liner with scoring ability at 4.75m gets you nothing. The best trade would be for Clarksson, but hes on the same team.

Don't bother Jacketman, Mr "fart dispenser" has been sniffing a little bit too much of his own brew that its starting to kill brain cells.
