Jets get a free draft pick for a player that wasn’t going to stay. Flyers don’t give up a lot for a player that according to Friedman, Lebrun and John Shannon, has not committed to signing with Philly yet. Fair for both sides
Fair deal, the Jets got a prospect that will probably never play in the NHL and the Flyers (If Hayes signs) got a bad contract they'll regret for years

That sums it up. They will over pay and give to much term. Win for Jets and lose for the Flyers.

LMFAO, bad contract? You don't have a fking clue what he will sign for! Anything $6.5 mil or less is a nice contract and that is likely where it will be.

6.5×6 for a 3rd line C is not that nice for me, but if it's nice for them ??♂️

6.5 Million for 50 points? That's not very good dude. Atleast you guys have yourselves a fringe 2nd line center (if he signs). Anything over 5.5 Million and it's an overpayment.
You are about to watch him thrive as the Flyers 2C...60 pts minimum this year
I'm not going to deny it, I'm just saying my opinion. This year he showed he is capable of that, he is going to be paid because of his production this year. Hence the high risk he becomes a high risk contract. If he can continue his pace, he can be a good 2nd line center.
