That is an extremely dumb trade considering how bad we are.

Overpay for Hall especially if you think of it as trading Larsson for all that. Also Philly will never let go of Couturier as long as he’s on that bargain contract

Ran the Couturier trade only because they just traded for Hayes. Lol

What's wrong with you? Both deals are bad, one is bad for Buffalo, the other is terrible for Philadelphia.

1. We can't just give away so many assets for Hall without a guarantee of extension, it would be terrible if he goes to UFA in a year and we are left without Hall and without our assets.

2. The deal with Philadelphia is impossible. Couturier is very good 1C, Hayes is not a 1C, they want his to sign for a 2C role while Patrick and Frost easily develop.
You'd trade Jack Eichel for Thompson, Scandella, Nelson and a late first? I guess not. Couturier is like to them as Jack for us.

We understand of course, and there is nothing terrible that you make such trades, before I also did such trades, when I did not really understand the value of the players and the needs of the other team. So there is no problem, maybe after a while you will understand it. It would be nice if you press the QUOTE button when responding to user messages, so it is easier to communicate.

I understand the value of players I am just a wishful thinker I guess. We want what's best for our respective teams and know that it takes a partner that would even remotely consider what the Sabres have to offer (which Is highly unlikely) but again it's just all fun and games here cause we ARE NOT actual gms. Lol

Yes, we want what's best for our teams, but we don't always know what's best for the team we trade with, and we often over-or underestimate the value of our players. Of course first and foremost it's fun and too serious about this don't need to be, but sometimes people just want to feel as a GM. smile

Let's see what Betterall would offer.
Hall for 2020 2nd, 2021 3rd, 2020 6th and Asplund. Sounds familiar?

Hall is still a better player than Skinner, I think new Jersey would have rejected such an offer.

Of course I was just being silly my friend.
Asplund is a lot better than Pu. LMFAO!!! Maybe we could drop the 2nd. laugh
I heard Chiarelli approached Armstrong for Shattenkirk before going for Larsson. If that is the case, I wonder why Peter did not consider Ristolainen.
