Not really. If Zaitsev newspaper quote is correct "He's never playing for the Leafs". Leafs don't trade him and Zaitsev stays in Russia, Leafs have saved 4.5m in cap.

JJ has a decent contract. As a kings fan id rather have Johnson at 3M+ than Phaneuf at 5.2M and they are basically a mirror image of each other.
