If I'm NJ I would ask to add Gus.

What I like about this deal is Chicago has cap room to retain Hall and pay Cat and keep most of the other youngsters.

Absolutely no chance. Assuming you might think of negotiating #3 OA this year given that your roster is constructed to win now with Toews/Kane still top notch players, that’s where talks start and center around. Other than that... Boqvist or Joki would need to come the other way

Or perhaps a sign and trade Hallsy(8yr-9.5m) for Boqvist and 2019 1st.

What is this trade for? To not make the playoffs and win the draft lottery though you traded the 2020 1st round pick to NJ so NJ would win again? Lol all in good fun

Its why i said Sign and trade.. meaning devils sign hall before trading him so Chicago gets him for 8 years
