    My plan would only be to keep Hall, DeBrincat and Strome going into the next season... by that time Boquist can take Gustafson's spot and Joki will be more developed.

    I would only make this deal if the Hawks knew they had an extension in place to resign Hall.

    I would build this team with a big center like him and not have any issues with it, going forward you have Toews, Strome, Dach... look at the NHL these days every great team has 3 above average centers.

    I dont really understand why we are trading down with Detroit though.
    I also think NJ would want a 2019 1st instead on a 2020.

    You make the deal with Detroit to get more draft capital to trade to NJD and rid yourselves of Anisimov at the same time. No way I would give NJD a top 10 pick in 2019.
