No way would Yzerman retain on Justin Abdelkader and take on Kyle Turris's full 5 x 6 salary makes no sense for a rebuilding club.

No ..why readd nyquist ..latest is sharks possibly resigning him which gives us that extra 2nd rd pick bump up from 3rd rd..no way counter productive

1. Helm is 3.85m x 2, Rask is 4m x 3 - DET Passes
2. Belesky is 1.9m x 1 and the Rangers are rebuilding as well, no chance they take on 5.25m x 3 Nielsen when he's dropping FAST AND give up a top prospect - NY Passes
3. Turris is 6m x 5, but he's still a higher PPG player with a decent PDO and taking on Abdelkader does them no good, even with salary absorbtion (which would also be asinine for Detroit to do) - Both teams Pass
4. Do not bring back Nyquist - open up a spot for the logjam of young forwards they have and see what they do - DET Passes
