I think asking for a 1st is too much, huberdeau has more value then Malkin

hawks already have a slow dead weight anchor in Seabrook, we don't need Jack Johnson back there as well

I'm just going by what has been reported so far.

I think in order to land Kessel taking JJ is part of the deal... both Kessell and JJ are best friends with Kane so this might be a deal strongly considered by the Hawks.

IMO Kessel is not the right target for the Hawks especially if he comes with Johnson.

yes Kessel can score but the Hawks need players that play a complete 200 foot game. Not 1 dimensional players who play when they feel like it.

Hawks should laugh and then hang up. Hurts the team both short and long term.

Not really, huberdeau had 92 points this year and he’s the most underatted in the nhl... u probably didn’t know and he’s much younger then Malkin, that gives him more value

Malkin is a generational talent, 98 pts last year, 3 times over 100, only one season under 1.0ppg. Huberdeau has 1 season over 1.0 ppg. Maybe in 2 years, if Malkin declines significantly. But until then, Malkin is worth more.

Malkin is aging, and no matter what you think, Florida would not trade huberdeau for malkin, especially not with a 1st round pick also, wow.

You are very wrong but it doesn’t really matter, cause Florida would laugh if the penguins offered them this trade, also Florida doesn’t need any more centers, but I’m guessing u didn’t think about that

You couldn't be more wrong. Centers are far more valuable than wingers. 8 4th Line centers does not count as Center depth, trochek is good, would be much better as a 3 C, and probably produces at the rate as Huberdeau if he is on wing of Barkov. Facts are, wingers are replaceable, generational centers are not.
