RFA signings look great.

I’m not interested in Eberle. He didn’t eclipse 40 points last season and got to play with some pretty good players. I think he’d do even worse with Jost and Kerf. We need to go after someone who can be the centerpiece on that second line.

Wishlist: Panarin, Skinner, W. Karlsson.

Great job overall, but I don't think Francouz is ready for the backup job. Maybe bringing back someone like Pickard for one year would be better, and then put Francouz in as the backup.

They already signed him to a 1-way 1 year "Alright, let's see what you can do in the big league" deal. He'll be the backup.

Agreed I'd rather have a bigger name FA, but I think we'll lose out on Panarin/Skinner and overpay a bit for a guy like Eberle.

I do think Francouz will be the backup, but I wouldn't be surprised if we signed an older fringe NHL backup goalie for insurance. He was on a one-way contract last year, so that's not necessarily evidence that management thinks he will be in the NHL, but I still think he will be.
