I mean, technically he could retire and the Hawks pay him a few million to be a talking head or advisor or whatever else you want to call it with no ramifications. But that's not gonna happen either.

Well, that will not happen this year or next, but it could in 2-3 year. If he really wants to remain in the organization and continue work at front office, he has to be reasonable. If you are a liability on the ice every time you stop on it, you have to know it and you have to do an honorable thing. I do believe however that with some proper conditioning this offseason, he could have a somewhat good season or two. his passing is great, his shot is good. He needs to get some speed back or adjust to a shutdown stay home role. He is serviceable on 3rd pair for next few years, I'm optimistic.
