Phaneuf with retention for Marleau

Created by: Goulet
Team: 2019-20 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 6, 2019
Published: Jun. 6, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Phaneuf is roughly as big a pylon as Hainsey but with his history, it could be fun. His physicality could be good and he used to prefer playing the right side.

Rather than the idea of paying someone to take Marleau, we could have Mr Cuthbert back and LA wouldn't have to buy him out. 2 birds with one stone.

Kadri and Zaitsev go as well

Hainsey>>>>Phaneuf. Maybe you didn’t watch him much over the last 5 years. But he is bad... you have insulted both hainsey and pylons with that comment.

Can we please never see Phaneuf in a Leafs sweater again. He was not great when he was here and he has gotten A WHOLE LOT worse since he left.

I don’t even want Phaneuf to get a whiff of that sweet oasis and ruin it with his stench

Besides, You can only go to thevwell so many times.
