Ghost Bear's value is going to continue to decline - coming off a rough year, and unless the Flyer's are really going to harm their long term defensive pairings, Ghost is going to be looking at either 2nd or 3rd line minutes on a weird pairing. With Sanheim and Provorov looking like the best LHD on the Flyer's, I would move him while he's at the most likely valuable.

Mitchell is a very good RHD prospect, which the Flyer's now have a dearth of, Sikura should get time moving up and down the Top 9 on PHI, and will be a cheap utility winger that fits the current Flyers better than Hartman. Anisimov fills a need for PHI as a stopgap Center assuming they can't sign Hayes, and he comes to them very cheap. Then a 1st on top of that. I'm sure another team might make a better offer (EDM? TOR?) but it's not as if this proposal has no value.

I'm curious to know what you think Ghost's value is after his 2018-19 season.

As a Hawks fan...I don't want Ghost. He's just redundant. I'd prefer to keep the Hawks assets. Not that Ghost doesn't have value...he does. It's just Gus is the puck moving Dman this year at a minimum...then Boqvist or heck maybe even Byram. It just doesn't make sense to me to trade for Ghost.

not a middle tier NCAA D prospect, a nothing prospect that hasn't scored a goal in half an NHL season, what would likely be a pick somewhere around 15, for Ghost and Hartman? Cmon.

Not sure how his value could continue to decline? He had a down year sure and his value is probably at it's lowest unless he has another down year. I don't see him getting traded until Fletcher see's what he will do under AV. I think Ghost on the 2nd pair with 1st PP minutes is the perfect scenario for him. He will be protected against other team's top lines and be able to put up points still on the PP. I'm not trading Ghost unless the offer wow's me. The team as a whole had a mediocre year and it would be silly to sell low on him at this point.

Vegas says no. They dont need to give up a pick and a top prospect. They can just LTIR him.

Apparently you think Chiarelli became the GM of Philly, and not Fletcher...

Make it the 2019 1st Round pick and you might be talking turkey. We wouldn't really want Anisimov if we can manage to sign Hayes though.
