Not one of these trades is balanced, but it's all over the map who it favours.
Danault and a 4th to Nashville for a late first rounder? Doesn't help the Habs in any way, now or later.
Alzner, Weal and a 3rd for a 6th? Might be reasonable, but Ottawa the last team that would make that trade.
Weise? No one wants Weise. The sixth-rounder would be going the other way.
Deslaurier? How is Weise worth a sixth and Deslaurier (younger, cheaper, better) only worth a 7th?
Drouin would get you a pretty good mid-first rounder. Petry would get you a first rounder and a good prospect. Even without the well-advertised cap pinch, Matheson would the fetch the Panthers the same as Petry -- a pick and a player. So if you're willing to trade Drouin for a couple of sloppy seconds and third picks, you're crazy. Sure, he drives the Antichambre guys bonkers, but he was still the Habs' third-best scorer.
