Description
Please let me know if I’m even close on any values. I know the panthers trade is rough, but I factored in Q’s love of seabrook.

Also, besides Dzingel, I didn’t really focus on free agents.

Draft picks are for either byram/Turcotte or byram/zegras.

Apologies if this is way off, just looking for opinions.

It’s definitely going to need to be way more going to FLA than a 2nd rounder even if Tallon and Q love Seabs and really want him. You’re going to need to include at least someone like Beaudin and maybe two more 2nds or a 2nd plus a conditional 1st. As for the LAK deal, it’s an underpayment. To get the 5OA from a team that is rebuilding their prospect pool, you are going to need to surrender at least Boqvist, 2019 2nd, and 2020 1st to get the conversation started. LAK is not looking to take on Saad’s contract and one year of Gus.

1st trade) Ottawa doesn't need to do that. Yes, they can get to the cap floor but they're not giving up picks. Picks are what they need. Also, no reason for Chicago to do it. You could probably get more from another team.
2nd trade) Florida wouldn't do that IMO. Nobody wants that Seabrook contract.
3rd trade) LA's getting a good return. I think Gustafsson is underrated. He got 60 points this year. But it was 1 really good year. And LA is rebuilding (or at least getting younger). No reason to trade 5OA.

What if you were to replace seabrook in that trade for Keith?

I think LA would do this trade. They shouldn't. But I think they would. They already came out and said they're not looking to rebuild and that they think they can contend again next season.
Don't even bother with seabrook trades. It'd cost too much in prospects and picks to get anyone to take him. Plus he'd have to waive his NMC. He's gonna be a hawk for awhile.

1st trade: Anisimov is getting moved either way so I don't think you need to include another player
2nd trade: I personally think Seabrook goes to FL someway. whats the cost? I don't know but he will be a Panther one way or another.
3rd trade: I would go the route of Saad, Gustafsson, Beaudin, and Sikura OR Perlini and a 2020 second for the 5th. The Hawks definately have a log jam at D so trading Beaudin is ok as you still have Boqvist, mitchell, and Jokiharju. Then with the 5th pick i would package it with the 3rd and a 2020 1st and go 1st overall for Hughes. Yes Hughes is really good but the devils get 2 good players this year and a pick next year.

Personally, I’d rather keep the 2 top fives if we got them and just took two players for the future. That’s just me, more quality. However, I don’t think I’d give up beaudin. I’d give up Mitchell because our log jam is full of RHDs, and beaudin is the lone LHD. Otherwise, I do like your trade suggestion.
