PIT 2016-2017 goalie give away

Created by: Guillaumepg66

Description
The Goaltender situation being what it is and the expansion draft coming up forces the pens to trade one of their two #1 goaltenders.
Ward has just resigned in Carolina, meaning there are no goalies available on the UFA market.
Only Tampa and Pittsburgh can actually trade a #1 goalie has they have two of them.

Also, Bonino will be UFA at the end of next season and their is no way he'll sign under 5 millions, which the pens can't afford. Even if they could afford him he'd still get drafted at the expansion draft.
Better trade him now, he had 18 points in 22 playoff games, his value will never be higher.
Pittsburgh needs young talent on the wings.
Sprong will develop in time on the right, so they must look to the left wing (very average).
They also need to add a #4 d-men that can play two way.

Hence this proposition.
Please give me feedback, tell me if I've got something wrong.

THANKS!

Don't think Bonino will be traded nor do I think he will demand 5+mil. I think he will sign in the 4 mil range. Think he also gets protected from expansion. This is who I think gets protected on offense: Crosby, Malkin, Horny, Hagelin, Bonino, Kessel, Sheary/Rust. Also, think you gave up to much for Chabot.

Thanks Sqm918!
I think you are right, I am giving up way too much for Chabot.

On the other hand, I really don't think Bonino will stay in Pittsburgh.
Although he might not be traded to CGY like in my scenario, if we give him 4 millions and protect him as you suggest:
Crosby+ Malkin+ Horny+ Hagelin+ Bonino+ Kessel = 37.25 millions on these 6 forwards which leaves very few to re-sign RFA like Rust, Sheary and to add any type of D-men to our flawed yet beloved defense.
Also, keep in mind that Matt Murray is RFA at the end of next season, we will need space for him as well....
