Personally I don't think Calgary moves Neal, if they do it will be for much less term to make the player a more plausible buyout or less money to make the contract more palatable. He will play in Calgary next year because he either increases his trade value or plays better, there is no where to go but up for his game. On the off chance it doesn't, then we are just right back here next off season.

He plays better on the right side, but that is with Giordano who seems to make everyone better. Brodie was good as a LD in 2015 with Engelland when Gio went down with an injury late in the year. If Montreal gets him I think they would be very happy with his play most of the time, but he is prone to the odd brain fart which in a tough market like Montreal would be very hard for the player.

I agree that we probably see Neal in a Flames uniform again next year, and I'm hopeful that he bounces back to the 20G, 40P level they signed him for, but I don't hate the idea of acquiring Turris as he plays a more important position than Neal and is a better fit for a rush team like Calgary (vs. Neal who I think would be better on a team that relies on the cycle to generate offense).

Meant for that to be '20 2nd, or a 3rd yes!
