He's played on Crosby's wing at every international tournament since the Vancouver Olympics.

I really dont think Point makes it. There are so many good centers (Giroux comes to mind and Toews would probably make it based on history) that he would be out. Scheifele probably wouldnt make it either for the same reason.

IMO i would replace Point and Scheifele with Giroux and Couturier and have a more "defensive" fourth line of Stone-Couturier-Giroux

You know you're good when you've got a Hart trophy winner on the 4th line.

I think Shea Weber should be there. Not that he is better than the 6 dman you putted there, it's just that he is so respected and valued by the hockey canada program. He would still have a spot on a team for his leadership duty I would presume.

That is going to be the difficult part about the next Olympics. By then, it will be 8 years since the last games with NHL players and there will be difficult deliberations about new age players and old players that have helped them win 2 golds in a row, players a perfect example is a guy like Weber and Parayko (Im pretty sure hes Canadian).

I'm going to be so crushed of Giordano's play declines and he doesn't make the next Olympic team. This was his year and the next games being just under 3 years away it's possible he is not playing at this level when that time comes.
