Sorry. Montreal says no to anything involving Gallagher. He's the closest thing to untouchable.

I think that's a great trade for Hall, if he won't re-sign in NJ.

That Hall contract could look terrible in 5-6 years, but if he puts you over the top for a Cup I guess it's worth it.

To start, Gallagher is untouchable, it's as simple as that. Now taking bias from the fan base, the difference between him and Granlund still isn't a 2nd round pick, same age, Grandlund gets more points while Gallgher scores more goals, it would be a pretty even swap straight up considering the contract situations of both

20-21 season = cap Hell. (Assuming Hall is 9.5/8) 7 players to sign (Josi included) and $11M in space, unless there's a huuuuge jump. Josi uses up 90% of that number. What's the plan?

Why it isn't cap hell:
Boyle, Hamhuis, TVR, Salomaki will not re-sign with NSH and all replaced by Admirals.(Trenin,Pitlick, Richard,Carrier,Allard) they are all will be good enough to join NSH.
And most important thing: Turris will be taken by Seattle.
So it is more than enough money for next season.
And yes, they are also can find a way to trade Bonino or someone else.
