Description

Based on Rumours and Leafs wants and needs.

I think all trades work for each and every team involved.

Arizona trades for Marleau after his signing bonus is paid. They receive Brown in compensation.
Colorado gets a very speedy, 2 way, winger.
Vegas sheds cap and gets a nice 1st rounder.
Ottawa takes on Zaitsev who hopefully can turn things around for them. They get a 2nd and 3rd round pick to help further their rebuild. They lose DeMelo, but he is a UFA at the end of the year anyways.

Leafs improve their RD Position. They shed cap.

Hard to see the Leafs getting more than a second for Kapanen. Someone could offer sheet him for 4.2m for 4 years and only give up a second.

I think the Leafs will have to retain on Marleau and we would have to sweeten the pot to get that first pick from Colorado. Maybe add Bracco and a pick
