I think we need to pay a little more for the MIN trade but then it brings up another problem. Is Rask worth it? He did fine in CAR but below average in MIN. I think we just trade AA for a 3rd and keep Saad.

I always loved Victor Rask, but noticed how many Canes fans I know (well enough to take their opinion at value) said he was smoke & mirrors, overrated, etc.

And after he left Carolina, where he was sheltered by better players, I think he may have proven them right in Minny. I'd pass on him.

I agree. I dont see Minny accepting that deal. Why would they be looking to get older? Throw in a good prospect like Krys, and maybe they consider it.

I think their was more to that trade. We never get all the details on deals that dont happen. But maybe Minny thinks Kessell is still a superstar, which I think is naive.

I actually watched a fair amount of Calgary games, because I have a man-thing for Sean Monahan, and I was hoping Giordano was finally going to get some Norris attention. I just don't recall him, so I dunno what to tell you.

Sadly, Hayden seems to kinda suck. I had high hopes for him, but he seems kinda useless. Oh well, so it goes...
