Ek makes sense for the Flyers, they need a 3C if they move Patrick (which is who I'd want if I were offered him or Ghost). I don't think Zucker makes much sense for them, though. They have Giroux, JVR, and Lindblom on the LW, Zucker would be forced to play on the right side and he isn't great there. Even then, Philly has Konecny and Voracek in their top 6 and Zucker is better than a 3rd liner.

Read the description, the trade is either Ghost and Gudas OR Patrick and Gudas for Zucker, Eriksson Ek, and Pateryn. We'd probably have to give up Spurgeon to get Patrick but it's not as bad as you think.

That does make things a bit better but I still think that’s a no from Philly, Patrick is grossly undervalued on ACGM and Philly can’t afford to give up their only two veteran defenseman

I think Spurgeon + Ek for Patrick and Gudas would seem more logical, Spurgeon naturally signs extension in Philly.

Which is why I said we'd have to give up Spurgeon (our best player) to get Patrick. I agree, though, he's really talented and it's only a matter of time before he gains consistency. I'd love to trade for him...

Well, it was not difficult, as I understand it, Philly needs a strong RHD in the top 4, Spurgaon is ideal for this, Ek is also a young center that will take the place of 3C after Couturier and Hayes' supposed signature. Minnesota will receive a temporary replacement for Spurgeon and of course the talented Patrick, who in the future may become their 1C.

I would go even further and say Patrick for Spurgeon swap would be horrible for us. We are thin on center and despite this last season our D-core is looking like it’s shaping up strong enough to where we wouldn’t need Spurgeon bad enough to give away a 20 year old center with legitimate 1C potential. The only asset the Wild have that I could see Patrick being sent in a trade for is Kaprizov, and even then idk if that would be 1 for 1

I'm assuming that Philly signs Hayes. So in that case you'd have Couturier and Hayes as your top 6 centers, which is great. The trade wouldn't be 1 for 1, and as @Cheesesauce mentioned, Eriksson Ek could be included on our end to solidify your center depth. I still think the Flyers could use a top pairing RD to play with Provorov.

The entire reason Hayes is being signed (at least attempted to) is to give Patrick a chance to develop better at 3C. The long term plan is to eventually have Patrick be a top center on the team. I agree Spurgeon would help immensely at our immediate needs, Eriksson Ek isn’t near the young player Patrick is IMO, and that trade would hurt Philly more in the long run than it would help them in the present

If Fenton decides he has to move on from Spurgeon (which he probably doesn't want to do, but might decide it is best for the team in the end) Fletcher certainly would jump at the chance to get him back, but I wonder if he won't trade Patrick simply because of Leddy for Barker. He doesn't want to do that mistake again.
Each team would get one downgrade and one upgrade as it currently stands.
