Interesting option. Would certainly be in our 3 LD. But he is a defensive, physical stay at home dman. I'm not sure he would be a good fit with Petry or Weber, but for the price he would be a great addition.

True but if teams know theyre shopping him i think they can get a 2nd. Seeing as theres a few teams that could use a cheap top 4 LHD

Feasible. Dillon and Weber together would be really good in our zone. I'm not sure Dillon would be productive enough in the offensive zone. None of those two guys like to take risk. But hey, I'm no NHL coach so maybe im totally wrong on this !

A more offensive D would likely cost a bit more so i'm up for a year of Dillon and if its not ideal then we have prospects likely coming up

No need for Dillon in Mtl. They have too much of third pair Dmen. Mtl pass on this one. Better off signing Jordie Benn at this price.

Go after Edler via free agency. Looks like VAN is having issues sealing the deal on a extension. He’s a lot more offensive minded, good two-way LD, and can QB a PP unit.
