Those are both bad trades for the Jets.
That's an awful lot to give up to move ONE season of Kulikov, Harkins was a 2nd when he was drafted plus a 3rd and a 5th, that's a lot of lost assets considering Sturtz is likely never to play in the NHL and how many picks/prospects the Jets have traded away in the last two seasons for rentals and cap space. Add up was given up in the Mason dump trade and the rental trades at the 18+19 TDL's and it's quite a bit, it's not surprising the prospect cupboards are starting to look bare.
The Jets would be wise just to ride out Kulikov's contract and see if there's anyone that might want Perreault and not try to attach either to Trouba which will likely lower what the return for Trouba is. Even if all someone will give is a 7th round pick for Perreault then so be it, take it.
