Well my thinking behind is truthfully is they don’t need Turris and to dump him off and replace him with Duchene is a big upgrade. With Bonino, I think they can give him up because personally I think Sissons can be a cheaper and 3rd line Centre. If they trade them there would also be no need for Jankrok because he will be replaced by a cheaper and young prospect in Tolvanen. With the big trade of Subban it makes sense and they can still sign Bob and Panarin. They only take on an approximate 2M while getting a top 4 Dman which I think they need and Nashville gets what they need a top 6 scoring forward and a bottom pair Dman. I think it makes sense

Hoffman will want to be paid. 5.5 will not be enough in my opinion to sign him

Subban isn't the beat defensive defenseman but he's been Nashville's 2nd best defensive defenseman since he been here and nashville is at least always in the top 5 or a little worse when it comes to goals against so that's saying something.
Another thing hate to tell ya but almost all the best defenseman in the league are over 30 or almost 30. Top 3 Norris finalist this year were 35 and 34 so maybe being on the wrong side of 30 isnt that bad.
Subban was on pace for 40 points doughty got 45 and I see no one bashing him and he makes 2 more million than subban. But yea stick to subban sucks because you seen highlights of him pinching and getting beat but the system he's in tells him to be a risk taker oh and he's a locker room cancer don't forget to throw that one in there
