I have to say that it gives me great glee to see almost every Nashville trade offering PK Subban to any other team that would take him. Meanwhile, Habs fans see Weber as untouchable. Hmmm, I wonder who won that trade after all.

MTL should trade their 1st rounder and Drouin or Tatar for PK instead of him going to FLA...smile

With pk 2 division titles, a presidents cup and a trip to our 1st nhl final. >>>>>>>>>With weber couldnt get out of the 2nd round no division title
Pk is being put in trades to cut cap space or bring in more scoring help. If turris would of panned out and got 50 +and fiala wouldnt of sucked ass then we wouldn't even be talking about trading pk

Cap might be the official line but what it really comes down to is he didn't deliver and the Preds are slipping back to being the team they were before, except now they don't seem to much like each other.

So the Preds reaching heights they've never seen before and PK was a Norris finalist means he didn't deliver? Come on man...

And personally I don't think the Preds trade PK and certainly not in any "spare parts/cap dump" trade that other fans love proposing.

If Nashville didn't have Josi, Ellis, Ekholm, and Fabbro coming up, he would be untouchable. Dealing from a position of strength isn't a bad thing.

This would be an interesting take if you didn't make the "gives me great glee" comment prior. Kinda negates the logic when it's clearly an emotionally charged opinion.

Objectively, PK's two seasons in Nashville have been mixed. One led to a Norris nomination and the other was marred by injuries and a less than stellar regular season. Unless the right deal is available, he'll be in Preds jersey. Cap can and would be dumped elsewhere with the likes of Turris and Bonino. Additionally, many in Nashville would prefer to move Ellis instead of Subban—so it's not because he's a bad player or a "distraction".

So now you gonna go to the no one likes pk and he's a locker cancer even though there is no stories about anyone in the locker room having a problem with him.

The glee part is that it shuts up the Weber haters on the site. PK is a fine person and a very skilled player. He has proven to be -- repeatedly -- a lousy teammate and eventually wears out his welcome wherever he goes.

PK has also had three season in Nashville as the highest-paid player on a stacked team and has come up short. As the team begins to figure out whether it is really a 117-point team (2018) or a 100-point team (2019) and which way it is likely to go in 2020, it makes sense that they'd move him ASAP.

You're only dealing from a position of strength if there are teams lining up to give you something and take his $9M contract. There's very little appetite around the league for what he brings to the dressing room. He's not a guy a GM/coach can build around and he's disruptive enough to the chemistry of a good team that they think long and hard before adding him.

No one ever says anything negative about anyone in the NHL, so they must all be angels. Somehow, though, you never see his teammates hanging out with him or hear them say what a great guy he is. They say it about other guys.... Hmmm. Food for thought.

The only knock on Subban is he's the highest paid player on a crowded blue line. And please, let me know where the "lousy teammate" part has reared its head in Nashville. Seems like we're relying on your omnipotent gut feeling here.

Ultimately, I'm not buying the "worn out his welcome" bit. The reality is Nashville has depth at the backend and minimal scoring from the forward corps. Simple as that.

Disruptive to the chemistry of a good team? I don't really buy that considering the preds have had some of their best seasons with him in the lineup. Just because he has a bigger personality doesn't mean that has any locker room issues. Some players may not mix of course, but that happens. He has only played on 2 teams as of now, so it's not like he's some journeyman. He meshes well with the team, GM, coaches, and fans in Nashville. Just because the management in Montreal didn't like his personality doesn't mean everyone else in the league thinks that way. He's done well in Nashville, both on and off the ice.

You can tell you know absolutely nothing about the preds. They do videos before ALOT of games about what our players and what they are doing in the community and many times josi Ellis Johansen Forsberg just to name a few are hanging out doimg things with pk. If you don't like a guy you don't do that. Youre trying to make up something up about the preds and pk because a few players in Montreal had a problem with him. And I mean a few.

Lmao so you come up with a comment and people been throwing facts at you when you throw speculation. You must not have anymore "rumors" to come back to. You sure you don't wanna make up one like preds ownership is upset with pk because he dissed country music? Lol
