It's not bad to have good goaltenders in the system. Knight will take a while before he is NHL ready, and by then Hart could be asking to move on. PHI doesn't want to get into the goaltending issues they had before, so it's not the worst of ideas.

Cool. Philly can have Miller and #17 for 11th. I'm sure Knight will still be available there. Vegas will draft Dach or Broberg.

Think it long-term, if you had two elite level goalies, you'd have so much leverage when you decide to part with other one of them. There's always market for good goalies.

Keeping them might be wise, too. Just look at Pens, for example. When they won those two cups, they had 2 elite level goalies.

It was also deemed highly unlikely with Hart,Sandstrom, Ersson and Ustimenko in the system. In the same tweet I believe as a matter of fact

Hart is 20 and he has prove he can be a starter in the nhl we don’t need another goalie prospect , we have at least one or two goalie with starting potential and knight don’t have stat that impress me at all

It could be good with our secound round pick ( I’m sure he won’t be here) but with the 11th pick you don’t take a goalie especially when you have a young starting goalie

It would be strange, I could see how they take Seider or Soderstrom in #11 or trade him as Fletcher said.

It really depends on your team's needs.

Usually the wisest thing to do is to take the best player available. If Knight reaches his potential, he could very well be that.

Solid 1Gs are usually far more valuable than a 2nd line LW, if we were to assume that PHI would draft Peyton Krebs for example.

Not at all I’m just saying that the kid is the real deal and it will be shocking if he is not one of the best goalie in the league in the next two years

He's played 31 games. Who is to say he struggles next year once teams start to figure him out? Everyone, including crosby, has to prove themselves
