Around 12-15 seems fair to me

I see him as a 1-2C. Basically as long as he has support (another 1-2C or a 2C) behind him, he is fine as a 1C.
So for an actual number, I've gotta put him around 25-35 ish.
Fantastic run in these playoffs though.

It depends on who you ask. If you ask anyone in the Central all of them say Top 30 at best. If you ask Blues fans he is Top 10. If you ask me I have him at Top 15. You have a lot of other people have that believe Top 15.

Probably but if you wanna bark up that tree kuzy scores 9 more points in 2 less games last year and the only reason he didn’t win a conn is bc Ovechkin was on the team. So kuzy is a top 15 as well? I think top 15 or top 20 list are dumb bc they are to opinionated for my likening but he’s very good player. Easily one of the best 2 way centers in the game. He’s a complete player. Top 2 are no brainer then it becomes opinionated heavily. Mc David and Crosby.... then the rest of the league

I figure there are 31 1C's in the league.
He is not a full time 1C in the same vein as McDavid or Tavares, he is a step below, hence 1-2 C (right in that between spot). I have him at 25-35 as that is the best of the 2C's at lowest to the lower end of the 1C's, which is pretty fair.

But kuzy and backstorm are both better imo.

Thats a very casual way of thinking, factor in O'Reilly doing most of his work in the finals on cracked ribs while playing amazing defense and winning >50% of his faceoffs it easily puts him over kuzy IMO but hes certainly up there in his own way

Kuzy has a broken hand if we are making excuses for players. And again kuzy scores 9!!! More points in 2 less games. That’s impressive. It’s extremely rare for a player to score more than 30 points in the playoffs name 5 in the last 8 years. ROR is better defensively but Kuzy is much better offensively imo.


Kuzy was a + 12 and was a 1.33ppg player

ROR was a +2 and was a .86ppg player

+/- isn’t the best stat but come on it hold some water kuzy stats are better last season. It wasn’t like he played against scrubs either they played the defending cup champs and the knights who lost like 5 totals games before the caps.


Edit. In the last 10 year. He has the most points in a single playoff run..... but yeah 50% face off is cool too

O'Reilly is better than Scheiffele

Again the points come from having better linemates speaking objectively and ROR is better than kuzy defensively more than kuzy is better offensively, sure he had 1 incredible post season run but his regular season numbers arent near that level
