Risto is worth more then miller. He almost had more points then him on a bad team. And then it will cost you to get rid of Callahan. I think it is very fair trade.

Wat is karsslon is he 40 goal scorer or 20 goals 60 points. No one knows he came out of nowhere with huge season and then had average season and will expect to be paid like a 40 goal scorer. You can’t afford him. And he isn’t worth the 7th overall pick alone. Miller was healthy scratch. It is fair value.

No it’s not. You are thinking future when VGK is in the now. What we know Karlsson is, is a top 6 forward that is our best penalty killer. We have aspirations to hoist the cup next year, this does nothing for that

They sure as hell can and will afford him rather than giving him away for a pick and scraps. I'd sooner trade Marchessault or Smith than let him go over a 7 million cap hit.

'Wat is Karlsson?' - he's the guy you're desperate to get locked up for 7 years x 7m!

Depends what you value. Most teams would rather have a forward they can throw anywhere in their line up then a defensive liability. Also Cally makes 4.5 mill on his last year cap hit 5.8 mill, so he's not going to be as hard to move as people are making it to be if tampa retains salary. Doubt Breezy Boss takes this route.

Vegas declines, plus it looks like Wild Bill is about to sign a long term extension with the Knights, He is purchasing a multi million $$ home in Summerlin

You are not very smart. His salary is 4.5 and his cap hit is still 5.8 and it will cost you to get rid of him.

7th overall is not enough for Wild Bill. If Buffalo made that offer sheet they would have give up 2 1st, a 2nd, & a 3rd. Even if Buffalo become a playoff team next year, those picks are worth more than the 7th overall.

That's great news. They can't announce any extensions over 6m without the new cap number in place.

I want no part of Risto, I personally value Miller more than Risto since Risto, a defenceman, cannot play defence and Miller put up close to 50 points in 75 games in a bottom 6 role. Miller can play anywhere in a lineup, if Risto is in your top 4 your gonna give up a lot of goals against. He is more of a PP QB and 3rd pair guy getting paid like a top end second pair. His contract is not good.

They should have the cap set by the 21st, It sounds like they will get Wild Bill locked down right afterwards, then knowing what moves they will need to make on draft day

The 7th OA player will likely be better than Wild Bill. Nelson is a solid 3rd pairing guy who is cheap. Asplund is a great center prospect, not mediocre.

Yeah maybe Dach or whoever it is will be - in 3-4 years! Awful trade for Vegas, so keep your amazing pick, great prospect and solid 3rd pairing guy. These are magic beans to a team that wants to win now.
