Would be a gamble. This year's 1st is early 20s, Bellows' production in his first pro year isn't exactly on par with what you'd like to see from a 19th OA pick. The main question would be if you think the Islanders weren't an oddity this season in their performance.

Hell to the no on Kadri. No. I want nothing to do with him. Also massive overpayment.

Underpayment on Zucker. I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Leddy for Saad is fair. I'd do that.

Good value for Miller. Not sure he'd be a great fit here. But I like him.

Wow, that TOR trade is atrocious... essentially 3 1st round picks for someone who will be a 3C for us AND is someone Toronto needs to move for CAP space?? Also, I wouldn't be so quick to just dump Bellows off... guy probably should have made the team after the camp he made last year, but got screwed for guys like Filppula and Komarov (clearly it worked out, but still) and then struggled in his first season in the AHL. I'd give him another year before marking him a bust and dumping him for someone we don't need.

If we are dead set on getting Kadri from Toronto (which honestly, I don't think we need to do) it should be for a B prospect and a 2nd rounder at most... given we don't really need him and Toronto needs to dump him.

As for Zucker, I'm not sure why everyone has a hard on for this guy. He seems like nothing more than a 3rd line winger and we have plenty of those already.

Underpaid for Zucker, overpaid for Kadri. But honestly, if we have T.J. Miller, how much do we really need Kadri? Why not import a Center/Wing through free agency (Ryan Dzingel?)

I'm not wild about a Leddy-for-Saad deal. There are much better, younger players we could get for Leddy, and Saad has really declined since the Chicago Dynasty days. But I could see it panning out.
