I can’t see the Wild trading Kunin. He is blossoming into a very nice player! I like Johnson and Paquette a lot, but not enough to move Kunin.

Maybe. 12 months ago I would have thrown him into just about any deal, but now...after watching him closely for a season, someone would have to blow me away with an offer to get him. This offer does not come close to blowing me away.

Tyler Johnson is significantly better than Luke kunin though. Can we agree on that? Look at his stats.

No argument from me on this. It’s more about the current status of the Wild as a franchise than value here. The Wild need to acquire youth, period. I would consider Johnson in a deal that included a young prospect or two, or picks. That’s really the only scenario I (if I ran the Wild) would consider a trade for any player over 25.
None of this is a knock on Johnson, I’m a very big fan of his! It’s more about the timing.
