100% No! Glass is one of the top prospects in all of hockey. He is going nowhere unless it secures Vegas a star defenseman on a favorable long term contract.
This trade leaves Stastny and Eakin as the only centers under contract for the Knights. And Vegas can't pay the RFA's they are acquiring because they need to pay their own RFA's. Trade makes zero sense for Vegas. But thanks for trying.

This isnt remotely close. Vegas says no immediately

This might be the worst non-troll trade I've ever seen on this site.

Terrible trade for Vegas, giving up Glass and Haula for essentially Risto since that St. Louis pick alone would probably fetch Colin Miller. Vegas is looking to get younger, not trade their best young piece for an analytic nightmare is Ristolainen.

Thanks, you all confirmed my thoughts. I saw these trades posted by Vegas fans and said, wow I would make them:

https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1217199 VGK
2021 7th round pick (ANA)
any team. for two 4th line guys, or one 4th liner and a 7th d
ANA
Haula, Erik
Additional Details:
need two or three depth players for Haula. just created them. Not sure where he goes or for who.

I took this trade and thought Larsson and Girgensons could the 2 fourth liners.

https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1214577 VGK
Ristolainen, Rasmus
2019 3rd round pick (BUF)
2020 2nd round pick (BUF)
BUF
Leschyshyn, Jake
Glass, Cody

Then I saw this trade and instead of the 2nd and 3rd, I made it SLB first.
Then I added Miller and Nelson. I know that is not quit equal, but I thought the better pick made up the difference.

So finally, if I took out Glass, what do I remove from the Buffalo side? I guess my real question is what would Miller and Haula cost the Sabres?

I agree, but I wanted to have my thoughts confirmed, read my post above.

Let me try again.
What would Buffalo need to give up to obtain Haula?

Haula = 2nd and cheap replacement
Millar = same

I think Buffalo could get Miller for the St. Louis pick as I believe Vegas is seeking prospects and picks since they are so close to the cap with lots of players to sign. I don't think Vegas is looking at Risto as a player they'd want due to his $5.4M caphit and lackluster play. Risto is more likely to go to a team that has capspace and can take a chance on his play improving despite underlying analytics showing otherwise. Haula is interesting since he is a UFA, Vegas may look to move him but they may also view him as their own 'rental' since he has a low cap hit when considering how strong of a player he is. I think for Buffalo to get Haula and Miller from Vegas, they'd have to move the St. Louis pick and probably Pilut.

Thank you very much for your comments. Most people are willing to say a trade is not fair then not offer any advice. I knew these trades were unfair but I wanted more feedback. Both of you were willing to do that
As I said initially to your comments, when I saw these trades I thought cool, let's make a deal.
I agree, I do not see Ristolainen fitting into Vegas needs. Now I am sad I even posted this trade, I should have known better.

TBH, IMO that is fair trade, but Pilut is the real deal, he is not going any where. While he is not in the Glass category, is certainly going to be on the team next year maybe as the second pairing defenseman. I greatly appreciate your feedback.
