Their was the rumor of Shaw and Byron for Ghost (That people are saying is not enough for Philly to accept). Drop Byron and add a second going to Mtl, frees up a forward spot for another prospect and fills a need at D.

I don't believe that rumor for a second. Its in no way the right fit for Philly. What Shaw and Byron give can be picked up in free agency if you need it that badly, not so much what Ghost has. That isn't to say they are not valuable. They are. Non Habs fans don't see these guys enough to make a knowledgeable decision on them. Both guys are glue guys and bring the secondary offense on a regular basis. They are guys that win you cups. With that said, you need the guys to get you there also.

I like Shaw as a player, Buffalo needs some grit, I am not sure what a fair trade looks like, do you like Casey Nelson?

Shaw can be a good #3C. even if he didn't play much there last season, he still managed to take close to 400 faceoffs at a decent 47%.

To our team, Pilut is worth as much as a guy like Victor Mete is to Montreal. They play quite similarly too.
