They are not far off but they need to continue clearing. Holland quietly fired few of old guard. They have McDavid, once they get fine he would carry them. But imo its Toronto from canada who is closest to cup. They would be in finals if they would not lose to Boston. Many people were saying that winner of BOS-TOR series would be in finals.. I like Edmonton. But they need to get fine before thinking about cup. At least few years from that. They can literally have McDavid-Draisaitl-RNH as 1-2-3 punch playing all the PP and 5v5 minutes which for some weird reason they are not doing (Brodziak or Khaira on PKs).. get Brown to McDavid. Promote Benson to RNH, Sign someone to Draisaitl and you immidiatelly have top-9 that can score a ton.. for some weird reason RNH and Draisaitl are changing as wingers which is completely stupid..

The Oilers big FA signing would be a goal scoring, speedy winger. RNH and Duchene are damn near identical players.
