From what I hear from Jets fans, there's little to no chance Ehlers would be moved for futures, so I am not sure how you get that Capspace. Klefbom has a sweetheart contract I think 2M space is about as much as you can get without losing value

Klefbom isn't that good of a Defenseman it would be for someone like Ekblad, Burns, McAvoy. Those are the type of defenseman they are wanting for Ehlers. It would come as a package with a few other assets as well depending on who it is they are getting.

Both Trouba and Myers play the right side and Klefbom is a lefty, just doesn't check out. But hey, we'll take Klefbom in Montreal.

I used to watch Ehlers play in Halifax back in the day and the guy has the winning combination of heart and skill but let's be real, the add would have to be huge to land one of Ekblad, Burns or MacAvoy.
