Toronto won't have interest in Hagg very much. But the value is in favour of them so they may consider it. Although they most likely don't move Kadri unless it'd for a NHL ready roster player, most likely a d-man or another centre. So for roster reasons, Toronto declines. But value wise is fine

Reilly Smith & Colin Miller are both solidified in their roles and consistent, talented players. Ratcliffe torched OHL playoffs this year and can definitely be a factor, but I think it would be tough to offer both VGK players on him just yet. Kadri would be great for Philly and that would be a fun 2nd line to watch, but honestly I think you're giving up more than you have to for him! Could be wrong, just seems like a lot. Also could argue that Konecny & Hartman could ask for a bit more $$, but the cap space is there so doesn't matter too much

Hagg is an NHL ready roster player who plays the rightside when needed. He's a fine third pair guy. Yeah he might make mistakes but he's still rather young. I felt "overpaying" might help make the deal happen.

I'd argue its likely close to fair valueish. Do you really expect to get a better player than Kadri at #11? There's risk that they don't pan out as well. With the way the RFA market is going nowadays its not like you have as much cap savings as you used to either. Having a 2C making 3C money in a 3C role gives Toronto the dangerous depth and injury insurance that makes up their identity. If Toronto was going to blow it up though, getting an 11th OA pick for Kadri would seem like a good basis for a trade.

Smith and Miller are the ones most likely to be traded so that VGK can resign Karlsson and then sign Gusev. The Kadri deal is an overpay but it may need to be to get the deal done but they are also in a bit of a cap crunch with marner wanting 10+.

- 131st in LHD ranking on corsica
- Abysma Transition metricsl
- While having some good output thus far his underlying numbers are meh on the 3rd pair and his CF% & xGF% garbage

The only real asterisk beside his experience so far is that its been in pretty bad zone starts.

Hagg is a left handed shot still, which is what the Leafs aren't looking for. He's terrible with analytics, which Leafs management is very high on judging a players value based on analytics. Can't see him being considered for Toronto. I'd say if you wanted Kadri, start with Myers. The 2019 1st wouldn't be involved, but Myers would be the starting point. Have to add a little, but you'd get closer that way

He's been paired with MacDonald a lot which is part of the reason I believe his metrics are so bad. He's not a puck mover whatsoever but with Marner wanting Matthews money it could help shedding 3 million.

Since the Leafs need cap space, Leafs will likely have to trade for an good NHL player for futures. Think that trade is necessary and and acceptable for the Leafs and the Flyers. Leafs might not get a better offer for Kadri.

Im fine with any trade where Kardi brings in the 1st. Here you get 3rd Pair rental, which fits also cause next year Sandin and Liljegren are filling 3rd Pair, and those 2019 and 2020 firsts can easily be included into landing some top Pair RHDs.

Btw have you checked my last one. Im overpaying for Pesce as crazy and not a single taunt was given, seems like i left all those roasters which usualy flak every Pesce trade standing in awe with their mouth shut. Read last post why it isnt overpayment at all.

I have a hard time seeing the leafs trading Kadri unless they get an NHL ready right hand D back. What do philly fans think of Kadri and Holl for Laughton and Myers?

Since you asked. I do think it's unnecessary. Leafs aren't winning, no where close, next season and the first rounders are just thrown away like teh Muzzin trade. I'd rather keep Kapanen and the picks.
See what available in 2020. But I'll agree with you it might be good trade for the Leafs.. Let's say Wallmark and Kapanen are equal in a trade. Then it's just two firsts for Pesce.

Where is Hayes? They got him, no need to trade for another 2nd/3rd line C in Kadri

Also Vegas says no

Radcliffe is great but probably going to have to add a small something. Smith is one of the most underrated 2 way forwards in the game.

Seems like he may not sign in Philly. If he does it's is going to be on a long term contract for over 6.5 million.. don't know how i feel about that.
